Nicomi ‘Nix’ Turner is a commercial and fine artist based in Oakland who melds her interests in anatomy, animals, and plants into amazingly delicate drawings on graphite. She shares a peek at her latest piece with us.

“[This is] a peek at my latest piece for a new series: ‘Insecticides & Nocturnes,’” Nix tells Juxtapoz. Her last show with fiancé Justin Barry was titled Nocturnal: Life In Darkness and it’s clear that Nix has found new fascination in life that comes out at night.
